JOB PROFILE:
Ø In co-ordination with the CEO / Executive Director, be the driving force behind value creation by identifying key business drivers in order to enhance the market position of the group / company
Ø Builds a solid impression of the company in the market
Ø Designs and executes appropriate financing strategies for the group / company and efficiently manage the treasury function
Ø Supports the Business Planning Process for financial activities and investments
Ø Prepares budgets, financial and management reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth
Ø Responsible for all aspects of financial reporting in line with the listing requirements of the stock market, international accounting standards and good industry practice
Ø In conjunction with the Board, recommend appropriate dividend strategies
Ø Be the driving force within the group for cost control and cost rationalization
Ø Communicates financial performance and forecasts to the analyst community
Ø Rationalizes processes and working-methods to suit the new environment
Ø Establishes control systems and appropriate computerized general ledger system capable of meeting the corporate financial accounting and budgetary control requirements of the Group
Ø Liaises with shareholders, banks, authorities, auditors as required
Ø Formulate overall tax strategies and ensure compliance with all tax requirements
Ø Plans and implements future finance organization for the group
